Goodbye, WGB Express

The WGB (Windsor Golden Brigade) Express was “officially” retired today as her plate and badges joined those of her sisters (and possibly a couple of brothers, you never know) in my plate graveyard.  She was one hell of lady. 6 years of marching band duty. Disaster relief. Parade support. Donation transport. She even brought a Ford Model-A truck and a saloon piano home to STL from California. And she hauled our Grand Junction to places like South Dakota and Florida, and pulled our new Cyclone to Tennessee and back last Fall like a champ. Lots of memories, lots of smiles, lots of fluid on the driveway. She will be missed and remembered fondly.
